Here is Reiver Roger who has joined the Border Search and Rescue Unit as one of the new intake of probationer members. He is looking forward to his training and is also running two spine races to raise funds to help keep the team running. The first one is the Summer Spine Northern Challenger MRT. This is a non-stop race over 160 miles of the Pennine Way. This takes place in the middle of June so there will be lots of daylight. He has also entered the Winter Spine Northern Challenger MRT. This is the same course but it will be dark most of the time - so he'll need to increase his carrot consumption!
