2019 Incidents

The team assisted two casualties from the Deerstalker Hill Race in Innerleithen while providing first aid cover for the event, involving 9 team members. 

The team were initially called out to assist with a family reported lost in Wauchope Forest. This incident was not in our area of coverage, so was passed to our neighbouring team Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team as they would be able to respond more quickly, with the offer of our assistance if required. 2 team members were involved.

The team were called this evening to assist Police with a search for a missing person in the Haddington area.

We are please to report that the person has been found safe and well.

The incident involved 11 team members.

The team were providing first aid cover for the Pentland Hill Race, where 5 team members evacuated an injured runner by landrover to the main road where he was picked up by the Ambulance Service.
