Stuart Stoneham raises £234.38 for BSARU

Former team member Stuart Stoneham walked from Byrness to Kirk Yetholm on Saturday 4th August 2018 to raise money for the team

Stuart Stoneham (ex team member) popped in to see us at the Yetholm Shepherd's Show yesterday to hand over a terrific £234.38 raised in sponsorship by walking the northern most part of the Pennine Way last month. At the ripe old age of 64, Stuart walked from Byrness to Kirk Yetholm - 26.67 miles, with a total of 5080 feet of ascent.

He was looking none the worse for wear from his exertions, and Chairman Brian Tyson gratefully relieved him of his donation. With our new team base foremost in our fundraising sights, it was a welcome addition to our funds.

Thank you Stuart!
