Borders XC Series

Borders XC Series goes live at 12.00hrs on Saturday 1st October on Entry Central, and it’s always quick to sell out so set your alarms for entry into the series of 8 events.

The series was started over thirty years ago in order to give all runners, regardless of ability and age, the opportunity to take part in organised and safe cross country running.

It includes both junior and senior races.  Junior races are around two miles and the senior races are approximately four miles.

The series is organised by the following eight clubs:- Chirnside Chasers, Dunbar Running Club, Gala Harriers, Lauderdale Limpers, Moorfoot Runners, Norham Running Club, Teviotdale Harriers and Tweed Striders; and aims to let all runners experience the joy, excitement and benefits of running cross country in a friendly, supportive and sociable environment whilst enjoying the magnificent scenery of to be found in the Borders, East Lothian and North Northumberland.
