Team member Duncan is competing in the Spine Race MRT Challenge this month - a 110 mile non-stop trek along the Pennine Way from Edale to Hawes.
This category of the Spine Race is open to rescue team members and Duncan is aiming to better his 3rd place from a couple of years ago as well as raising money for the team. Last year, he took part in the full length version of the race (as if 110 miles isn't enough,) and completed the 268 miles of The Pennine Way from Edale all the way to Kirk Yetholm.
With a new team vehicle being kitted out and BSARU looking to build a proper base for the team, every pound he raises will be well spent.
