Cornhill Girls do it again!!

The girls at the Cornhill Village Shop present us with a portable defibrillator

Cornhill Village Shop girls presentation of portable defibrillator to BSARU

The girls at the Cornhill Village Shop are amazing supporters of Border Search and Rescue Unit. Their most recent drive has been to raise funds, by bingo nights, raffles and a day running the charity cafe at Kelso Races, to buy us a lightweight, portable Defibrillator... that reduction in size and weight from our current ones makes a huge difference when carrying equipment up a hill to a casualty, as well as taking up less space in our vehicles. They presented team leader Bob McKeand, Medical Officer Steve Jones, Chairman Brian Tyson and Vehicle Officer Scott Thompson with it this morning. Thanks to the girls and the Cornhill community so much for all your support - and keep off those delicious looking pies, lads!!
