The Border Search and Rescue Unit is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO 23213) and relies heavily on fundraising to provide the high level of service that we do. Mountain Rescue teams in Scotland receive a small amount of support from the Scottish Executive, although this is not sufficient to cover all of the expenses of running the team, and is not guaranteed for the future.
